I’m back! I know i’ve been M.I.A. via the blog world for a while now, but I have a VERY good excuse! Let me introduce the newest member to my little family…

Juliet Lynn Johnson. Born April 6th, 2011 weighing 6lbs 2oz. She is a complete joy to my hubby and I and our 5 year old (big help) daughter, Felicity. I had decided to take off of work until around September to give myself plenty of rest and full time spent with my girls. Well, that lasted about a month and I was back to work, but very much so part time. Now, I am quickly getting back into the fast paced photography life again and have been booking sessions like crazy. I have much catching up to do with blog posting, but I wanted to make my first returning blog post be of my own sweet little thing.

So, here she is…

I did a wedding this past saturday, september 13th. ALOT of fun! It was a pretty large bridal party, so we had a blast! Tried to get some quick pics in the hot sun before everyone’s makeup melted! All in all, it was a very fun day! Here are some pics…

Well, my newly designed website is still in the works, but almost complete. We are just waiting to find a way to post my galleries, so i’m tryin to be patient! I can’t wait until it’s up and running.

Anyway, here are a couple pictures from a shoot i did helping my sister-in-law, Mandy, with. She and my brother live in Alabama and while I was visiting, she was hired to do an outdoor business shoot. The company was celebrating their 50th year, so they had a family festival outside their property. It was alot of fun! These are just two of the many shots i took from the band that played. They were really cool guys…

And this is just a random snapshot i took of some of the kids jumping in the bounce house, and I happened to catch my nephew, Kane, jumping in the air. I didn’t plan it, so it makes it that much cooler.

welcome! – my intro… July 25, 2008

New beginnings…

Well, my photography business is really keeping me busy – and i love it. I’ve decided to do NEW things. I am currently working at redesigning and reconstructing my website. It’s about time i think. I’ve had my current one for a few years and although it’s nice, everything needs updating every now and then. So, it is almost finished, and if you are HERE, then you probably have viewed it because that is probably how you got to this blog! So, feedback on my web-design would be much appreciated!

So, anyway, my reason for creating a blog, is to keep you and all my clients up to date with my life in the photography world. I will try to keep this as up to date as possible so that we can grow a relationship and you can get to know me on a more personal level. Some blogs might even include the things I most love, which is my family. I am married to a wonderful man and we have the most beautiful little girl in the world. (Is that biast? nah…)
